SAMUT PRAKAN -- A man was killed and another injured after a motorcycle they were riding ran into the rear of a pickup truck parked on the shoulder of King Kaew Road in Bang Phli district in heavy rain early Sunday. Pol Capt Kittipop Poldech, a duty officer at Bang Kaew police station, said the accident occurred at about 30 minutes after midnight. Panuwat Wong-amat, 33, the driver of the pickup truck, told police that he parked his vehicle on one side of the road and went into an entertainment venue in the area. He found that a motorcycle had hit his stationary pickup truck in the rear. The injured man was admitted to Jularat 2 Hospital.
